Forgive the Debt
I was employed in the business world as a manager, and making very low wages considering the work I was doing, My associates degree was not enough to get a promotion I was told I needed to upgrade in order to be promoted. I spent the time and money to get my Bachelors degree in management. But due to the financial crisis many companies have down sized and are hiring managers who are unemployed with Masters degrees or PHD’s. Why because they can get them for the same wages as a person with a Bachelors, because that person is desparate for a job and will take anything. So I now drive truck for 1/2 the pay I should be making as a manager. Is that fair? I will be loosing my home and file for bankrupcy soon, if I can’t afford my house payments how do you think I can afford my student loan payments?
