I took out federal and private loans to obtain a M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction at Boston College and a J.D. from Seattle University. I currently teach middle school humanities in an urban district while I work to obtain my National Board certificate. After 4 years of paying over $40,000, I now owe approximately $3000 more than when I started.
